History of MP / Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy Facility Construction

September 2006

In an effort to establish a state-of-the-art intravital 2-photon / confocal laser scanning fluorescence microscopy dedicated solely to furthering our understanding of how components of the immune system operates within the native tissue microenvironment in which to carry out their vital function in eliminating infections and cancer, we elected to design a dual-platform microscopy system equiped with 2 Leica SP5 confocal microscopes and a shared Chameleon Ultra 16W 2-photon laser.
